MOTOGP: Monster Energy Extends Sponsorship Pact With Yamaha Team

MOTEGI, Japan — official release — Movistar Yamaha photo — Yamaha Motor Co. has confirmed an agreement to continue in MotoGP with The Monster Energy Company as an official sponsor for a further two years.

The agreement covers Monster Energy’s role as an Official Sponsor of the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team and that of Title Sponsor for the Monster Energy Yamaha Tech3 Team.

“Monster is once again pleased to announce our continued partnership with Yamaha for our MotoGP program,” said Mitch Covington, vice president of sports marketing for Monster. “The Factory Team run by Lin and Hervé’s Tech3 Team always do a great job and we could not be happier to continue such a strong relationship with a view to winning races and championships for years to come.”

With four ‘Monster Energy riders’ within the two teams, this MotoGP partnership at the pinnacle of motorcycle racing spearheads a global Monster Energy-Yamaha alliance that stretches across multiple race disciplines and classes.
